The painting world of Tatjana Politeo emanates freshness of poetic intimacy with the thematic material found in her closest surroundings and that is the environment of her own home. By adopting objects of the interior with a playful infantile vision she transforms them into a pictorial atmosphere. In this slightly nightmarish composite of different spatial cadres we encounter objects such as a table, a chair, a closet, a lamp, a washing machine, a bathtub, an iron, and many more. These are the objects we are surrounded with and use daily, whose silent existences certainly send out signs from their secret world of things.
